CBPDA Certificate

The certificate may be requested by Customs Precincts (or Customs Precincts), which are areas demarcated by the competent customs authority, in the primary zone of organized airports and ports or in the secondary zone linked to them, so that movement, storage and customs clearance of goods coming from abroad, or destined for abroad, can take place there, under customs control by the Federal Revenue Service.

Every import or export must through a location controlled by the Federal Revenue Service to be cleared, called a Customs Area or Customs Area.

The storage of products subject to health surveillance must meet specific requirements to ensure their quality is maintained. Therefore, Customs Facilities that store this category of products are subject to inspection by Anvisa.

The CBPDA is not mandatory, however, the certificate can be requested by the company as a complement and provide greater security for the storage of medicines, pharmaceutical inputs and health products.

The validity of the CBPDA is 1 year from the date of its publication in the Official Gazette of the Union.
