GOL Linhas Aéreas and Aerolíneas Argentinas, codeshare partners, will start operating the air shuttle between the airports of Guarulhos (GRU) and Aeroparque (AEP) as of November 1st.
Announced in June, the novelty makes the route between the two airports of Guarulhos (GRU) and Aeroparque (AEP) even more practical for Brazilians and Argentines.
The announcement of the start date for the operation was made this Monday (17/10) in Buenos Aires, during the ALTA Leaders Forum, an event that brings together the main airlines in Latin America.
Among the advantages guaranteed to Customers of both companies is the flexibility to change flights from either company on the same day of travel.

Customers who have purchased Plus, MAX and fares may change their flight at no additional cost, which also applies to Smiles Silver, Gold and Diamond Customers. Customers with tickets purchased at the Light rate and other Smiles Customers can also purchase the service for R$100.
Codeshare partners since 2014, GOL and Aerolíneas bring a new concept to Customers. In addition to the flexibility of changing flights on the same date of travel, customers will also have a dedicated check-in just for this new product. In addition, Smiles Program Gold and Diamond customers will have boarding priorities and an additional baggage allowance on Aerolíneas flights.
The service, at this first moment, will be available to Customers at the Airline stores and service counters at airports and at the Telephone Service Center. In the near future, managing the trip on this stretch will also be available to Customers via the GOL app, website and self-service counters.
“GOL and Aerolíneas Argentinas already benefit Brazilian and Argentine travelers with a wide connection both in Guarulhos and Buenos Aires in a very successful codeshare partnership. With the start of our airlift, we will have the most convenient flight offer in the region, which expands the possibilities of comfort for our Customers”, said Celso Ferrer, CEO of GOL.
“We are united with GOL in a multi-year relationship through a codeshare agreement that allows travelers to connect from various destinations in both countries. The launch of this air shuttle reinforces this relationship and benefits our engers, who can now travel in one direction or the other with a wide and robust offer. It is another step that highlights the importance of the Brazilian market for us”, said Pablo Ceriani, CEO of Aerolíneas Argentinas.
