According to the Click Orlando portal, the FAA will investigate the incident along with the NTSB.
The TBM Avenger was a torpedo bomber manufactured by General Motors, a variant of the TBF Avenger originally developed by Grumman. The model was used extensively in World War II, most notably by the US Navy aboard its various aircraft carriers.
Between 1960 and 1965 the Brazilian Navy used three TBM-3E Avengers as static training aircraft on the aircraft carrier NAeL Minas Gerais.
