ABEAR receives visit from the Minister of Infrastructure to address air sector issues

The Minister of Infrastructure, Marcelo Sampaio, and the National Secretary of Civil Aviation, Ronei Glanzmann, visited the headquarters of the Brazilian Association of Airlines (ABEAR) today (22) in São Paulo to discuss relevant topics for the sector with representatives of the companies airlines.

As priority issues, Sampaio cited the expansion of the number of flights at Congonhas airport (SP), investment in regional air terminals and the cost of QAV, which is the item of greatest economic inefficiency for airlines.

“ABEAR is the home of aviation and we appreciate the meeting with the minister to continue the permanent dialogue table that we started this year, especially on the subject of QAV, the sector's central agenda”, celebrates the president of ABEAR, Eduardo Sanovicz. From ABEAR, the director of operations Ruy Amparo, the consultant Raul Souza and the director of institutional relations Jurema Monteiro also participated in the meeting.
