Inframerica, manager of Brasília Airport, through a partnership with CEB, completed the installation of new lighting poles on the side roads that connect the car dealerships to the air terminal and on the road that goes to the Air Base.
106 poles were installed, all of them with LED lighting, more efficient, sustainable and economical. Work began in early February and was completed on the 27th of the same month.
Infraframerica invested more than 340 thousand reais in the project. Infrarica's technical maintenance team was responsible for overseeing the services and CEB was responsible for carrying out the work.
The new road lighting will bring even more safety for drivers and pedestrians. “The fundamental partnership with CEB will improve the visibility on the way to the air terminal and make the flow of vehicles, as well as the movement of people through the site, more secure”, comments Juan Djedjeian, vice president of Inframerica.
The president of CEB, Edison Garcia, comments that the darkness at one of the main entrances to the city was something that bothered him. “The lack of lighting on the parallel roads that serve the concessionaires and the hotel took away a lot of the beauty of arriving in Brasília. I consider it important to value the arrival in the capital, ”he said. “In this respect, Infraframerica was a fundamental partner: the concessionaire investing in the airport concession area and CEB acting in the urban access area. CEB IPES has been working to light all the paths that connect the airport to the main tourist sites in the city”, he concluded.
