Follow: Boeing 787 from LATAM Brasil is already fulfilling commercial flights

Boeing 787 LATAM Inter

The Boeing 787-9 of LATAM Brazil, registration PS-LAA, started its operations this Saturday (23) transporting engers. This Saturday, the plane will fly LA3985 and LA3987, between São Paulo (Guarulhos) and Manaus.

Flight LA3985 took off from Guarulhos Airport, in Greater São Paulo, at 07:39 am and is expected to land in Manaus at 10:19 am. Flight LA3987 is scheduled to take off from Manaus at 15:15 pm, landing at Guarulhos Airport at 20:00 pm.

The aircraft and crew were duly certified by ANAC in recent days, which allowed the beginning of operations with engers by the Brazilian branch, and with Brazilian crew.

The aircraft will remain until December on domestic flights in Brazil, for the adaptation of the Brazilian crew. However, LATAM has scheduled for the second half of December the first international Boeing 787 flight with engers on the São Paulo/Guarulhos-Madrid route. 

The LATAM Boeing 787-9 is equipped with 303 seats in two classes, with 30 in Business Class and 273 in Economy. LATAM Brasil plans to have four aircraft of this model in its fleet, replacing the Boeing 767 and Airbus A350.
