The company also made its last flight today, going from Paris to Ljubljana, transporting the men's volleyball team from Slovenia with a CRJ-900. After this operation, the company declared all its operations closed and canceled, due to the bankruptcy process.

The court will have three days to decide to initiate bankruptcy proceedings, where the company's assets will be sold to pay creditors and workers.

The management of Adria Airways was looking for around 4 million euros, in financing or investment funds, to continue its operations. In total, the company has 20 planes in its fleet, is part of the Star Alliance and transported around 1,2 million engers in 2018. It was founded in 1961.

The Slovenian government has already publicly refused to bail out the airline, while Lauda Air has offered employment to its 550 employees should the airline go bankrupt.

The Government of Slovenia is already working to develop a new national airline, with the aim of improving Slovenia's connection with other countries in Europe.
