On July 14, the Air Arabia Group announced on its official website the opening of vacancies for A320 first officers in Karachi, Pakistan. The announcement highlights the search for qualified drivers to the team.

“We have an exciting opportunity to share with our group company, Fly Jinnah – Pakistan’s newest airline. We are currently seeking a qualified First Officer with Type A320 rating to our team on a fixed-term contract.”

The statement details that, in the role of First Officer, the professional must act as a “Flight Pilot” or “Monitoring Pilot”, assisting the Captain in managing the work in the cockpit, monitoring the progress of the flight, the efficiency of the operational systems and the performance of other crew .

Other duties include: Operating flights in accordance with the specifications of the Operations Manual and airline regulations, ensuring adherence to the necessary procedures to ensure the safety and efficiency of aircraft operation.

The candidate must have at least 500 hours of flight time, preferably with the Airbus A320. Previous experience with low-cost airlines is highly valued. Additionally, it is essential that the candidate has a comprehensive knowledge of aircraft systems and aviation operational procedures.

During the training period, which extends until the final line check, the candidate will receive a net salary of approximately US$3.500 per month, proportional to the part of the month worked, in addition to daily allowances. Upon completion of training and final line check, the monthly salary will be AED 20.199 ($5.500) for up to 60 block hours per month, also net, with the addition of daily allowances.
