On December 17th, Air Europa completes ten years of operating the São Paulo x Madrid route. During this period, the company carried out 5.900 flights, transporting more than 1,5 million engers and maintaining an average occupancy rate of 87%. To celebrate the occasion and the results, the company held, last Monday (27), a meeting with travel agents, authorities and other tourism professionals, with the presence of the general director of Air Europa in Brazil, Gonzalo Romero.
According to Romero, the company's operations in São Paulo were mainly marked by the acquisition of daily flights for the route to Madrid and the acquisition of the Dreamliner 787 plane to operate the route.
Daily flights operated by Air Europa at Guarulhos airport always take place at 15:05 pm. From Madrid, it is possible to connect with several destinations in Europe, such as Porto, Lisbon, Rome, London, Paris, Amsterdam, Barcelona and Malaga. Takeoffs leaving the Spanish capital take place at 23:45 pm.
In November, the company also celebrated 20 years of presence in Salvador, Bahia. Currently, the company operates two daily flights connecting the Bahian capital to Madrid. In December, Air Europa will add a third frequency to the route, in the period between the end-of-year holidays.
Air Europa also has codeshare with Gol and Azul Linhas Aéreas. This allows engers from other Brazilian airports to fly with the company, leaving the country's main cities and connecting in São Paulo.
Those interested in learning more about the plane operated by Air Europa, in addition to the routes operated, can access the company's website. Air Europa allows you to pay your tickets in up to ten installments, interest-free.
