This November, Air Europa completes 20 years of presence in Salvador, operating the route that connects the capital of Bahia to Madrid and the entire European continent. Salvador Bahia Airport will celebrate the anniversary of the Air Europa flight with a special event, this Wednesday at 20pm, located in front of the airline's check-in, welcoming engers bound for Madrid.
According to Romero, Air Europa's 20 years in Salvador were marked by several achievements, including the increase in frequencies and the operation with one of the most efficient planes on the market. During this time, the company recorded an average of 81% occupancy on flights. Currently, Air Europa flies twice a week from Salvador to Madrid, on Wednesdays and Fridays. At the end of the year, an additional frequency will be added to meet demand.
