Airbus Corporate Helicopters (ACH), the Airbus division specializing in private and corporate helicopters, will display the ACH135 Helionix aircraft for the first time on the terrace of the Yacht Club de Monaco. The presentation will take place between the 26th and 29th of September at the Yacht Show 2018 in Monaco.
Equipped with the interior configuration typical of the ACH line, the new model, which features the Helionix avionics system, represents a technological leap for this type of light twin-turbine helicopter, offering a pleasant flight experience, ideal for marine, urban and wild environments. .
Adding to the range's reliable, robust capabilities and SUV-like balance of comfort and versatility, the updated version of the ACH135 offers improved situational awareness, simpler flight controls and increased safety.
Features already praised and approved by pilots include the “pause” button in the automatic flyover (ideal to give the pilot more time in low visibility situations or in environments with a lot of movement), the “go around” button (with the simple press of a button, the aircraft will automatically turn and reposition itself for the best landing approach) and automated engine management (ensuring a smooth and safe flight even if one of the two engines fails).

“With approximately 300 helicopter-capable yachts around the world, there is an ever-increasing demand for helicopters that are reliable, compact and versatile and capable of transporting engers and cargo in all types of environments. The addition of Helionix to the ACH135 puts the aircraft on par with the ACH145, ACH160 and ACH175 models, which are already equipped with the system, and makes the model worry-free to operate and perfect for use on yachts.”, says Frederic Lemos, director of Airbus Corporate Helicopters.
The ACH line is characterized by care and attention to detail and offers an end-to-end experience based on exclusive and high quality services; from selecting the best aircraft to meet customer needs to helping style finishes, with throughout the aircraft's lifetime backed by 24-hour services around the world.
