Airbus signed a purchase agreement with Azorra for 22 A220 Family aircraft, including twenty A220-300s and two ACJ TwoTwenty aircraft.
Azorra works with aircraft leasing and operates from Fort Lauderdale, Florida (USA). The company focuses on the market for executive, regional and medium-sized aircraft.
With this firm order, the first of 2022 for the A220, this family of aircraft already has 690 firm orders from 25 customers. So far, Airbus has manufactured 190 aircraft of this model.
Azorra did not reveal which customer opted for the 20 A220-300 aircraft, nor which ones wish to operate with the executive version of the aircraft (ACJ).
In its commercial version, the A220-300 can be configured to carry 130 to 160 engers in a 2×3 cabin configuration. The aircraft has a range of up to 3.450 nm (6400 km), offering airlines greater operational flexibility.
The ACJ TwoTwenty competes directly with the Lineage 1000 (already discontinued) and the Gulfstream G700 and Bombardier Global 7500 aircraft.

Based on the Airbus A220-100, the ACJ TwoTwenty it has a range of 10500 km, listed as very good for an aircraft in this category. The interior can be divided into six different areas, and the number of seats, as well as comfort, varies according to the customers' choice.
