Known for its creativity on social networks, Thai Airways innovated once again and decided to auction a Boeing 737 through social networks, something peculiar and very unusual for an airline.
In recent years, social networks have become one of the main showcases for airlines to inform about their operations, also becoming a communication tool with their customers.
According to information on the Portal Simple flying, Thai created the TG Warehouse Facebook page to the products. With that, the company should announce around 400 objects, highlighting some Boeing 737-400 units that were used by the company.
In this sense, Thai Airways is looking for innovative methods to make cash to recover from the pandemic crisis and hopes to find interested parties for three units of the 737 that have been stored since 2017, being the aircraft ed HS-TDD, HS-TDG and the HS-TDF.

In addition, the company has already used social networks in other opportunities to announce the sale of previous generation engines, as well as on-board service utensils such as plates, glasses, cutlery and blankets.
It remains to be seen whether the new method will work, since many aircraft buyers prefer secrecy to carry out such transactions, mainly because it is an acquisition that can exceed millions.
