A Amaro Aviation, a business aviation company, received this Thursday (01/07) its first plane for sale in the shared ownership system. It is a PC 24, light executive jet of the Swiss company Pilate, designed to operate on short and even unpaved runways.
This feature allows the PC-24 to operate on an incredible number of runways throughout Brazil, making this aircraft an extremely versatile alternative, especially for the agribusiness sector.
It arrived in the 8+2 configuration (with eight seats and two pilots) and landed at the São Paulo Catarina Executive Airport, in São Roque, around 11 am, with the presence of a small group of guests and journalists.

O event took place outdoors, in the aircraft parking lot, and also in the main hall of the terminal. Safety protocols were followed, including a Covid test upon arrival at the event.
Streamed live by streaming, the ceremony featured short speeches by Amaro Aviation partners and the Pilatus representative, José Eduardo Brandão, in addition to a video greeting by the head of the National Civil Aviation Secretariat, Ronei Glanzmann. See the event below:
O founder and chairman of the company, the businessman and artist Marcos Amaro, participated in the event online, directly from Italy, and thanked “the real dream team of professionals ionate about aviation”, the team got together to build Amaro Aviation.
He mentioned the emotion of seeing, on the fuselage of the new plane, the name and figure of his father, Commander Rolim, creator of TAM – a design made by Gianfranco Beting, responsible for marketing the new company.
Your partner and CEO of the company, the commander David Barioni (former president of TAM), highlighted that Amaro Aviation “Offers Brazil a complete business aviation solution, with shared ownership business units, aircraft management and, soon, air taxi”.
The company's commercial partner and vice-president, João Mellão, recalled that “the shared ownership model is already a consolidated success in Europe and the US and will certainly bring a lot of value to business aviation in Brazil”.

The commander Francisco Lyra, also a partner of C_FLY Aviation, participated virtually from the USA, where he is to coordinate the next deliveries of Amaro Aviation aircraft.
Another aviation veteran, Lyra highlighted the importance of the new company being “the first to be born under the new regulation of ANAC (National Civil Aviation Agency) for the shared ownership of aircraft”.
Jose Eduardo Brandão, from Synerjet – Pilatus representative in Latin America – said that the company was “honored to have been chosen to supply Amaro Aviation's first products”. He pointed out that the PC-24 jet, launched just three years ago, has already sold 100 units, a success in the market.

A Amaro Aviation acts with fractional ownership, an aircraft shared ownership model; aircraft management and, within a few months, as air taxi. In partnership with C_FLY Aviation, the Amaro Aviation already manages the largest fleet of Gulfstream jets in the country.
The company chose the São Paulo Catarina Executive Airport, in São Roque, 30 minutes by car from the city of São Paulo and 14 minutes by helicopter as the base for its operations in Brazil. With a 2.470 m runway, state-of-the-art private terminals and 50 square meters of hangars, Catarina was inaugurated in December 2019.
The airport operates without restrictions on operating hours and has the capacity to receive 200 takeoffs and landings per year of national and international flights.

Fractional Ownership
Already well developed in the US and Europe, the fractional ownership allows the shared ownership of an aircraft. Those who acquire the quotas can fly their aircraft as needed.
The model provides customers with all Amaro Aviation services, such as scheduling, flight plan, crew, Catering, maintenance, communications, Concierge and insurance services. The mode of fractional ownership brought to Brazil by Amaro Aviation arrives with the reputation of excellence in quality, safety and experience of the team at the head of the company.
Another major difference is that civil, labor and criminal liability for the operation of shared aircraft rests with Amaro Aviation, in accordance with regulations recently approved by ANAC.
aircraft management
Fleet management is another area of action at Amaro Aviation. The company takes care of everything related to its customers' aircraft: it selects and manages the training of the crew, coordinates maintenance services, flight plans, purchases, payments, etc., ensuring the greatest possible availability of the aircraft to fly, with competitive prices.
Amaro Aviation even customizes reports for customers in the same formats used in their companies.
air taxi
Amaro Aviation will also offer air taxi services. The documentation is being processed by the regulatory bodies and the expectation is that the company will be able to operate in this modality later this year.
for all tracks
The first two aircraft that Amaro Aviation offered for sale in this model fractional ownership are starting to arrive in Brazil. They are from the Swiss manufacturer Pilatus Aircraft, a success in the global executive aviation market and known for the versatility of its aircraft.
In addition to the Pilatus PC-24 that arrived this Thursday (1.7), the company will receive the PC-12 turboprop next November, also designed to operate even on short, unpaved runways. It arrives in the same 8+2 configuration (engers + pilots).
