The route from Rio de Janeiro to New York, in the United States, will have a drastic reduction in the offer of American Airlines flights from August 22nd.
The American company will replace the current Boeing 777-200 with capacity for 288 engers, by the Boeing 767-300ER, which can carry up to 209 engers. This is also a comfort retreat for engers, as the entertainment system on the American Airlines Boeing 767 is collective, and does not have individual screens in the seats.
The forecast for the return of the Boeing 777-200 on the route is only for the high season in Brazil, on December 15th.
Recently, LATAM Brasil announced that it would be changing flights departing from Rio to New York, by route from Rio de Janeiro to Orlando. This change from American represents yet another drop in supply on this stretch.
