A Beginning May 1, American Airlines will reintroduce full beverage service in all domestic cabins. Starting June 1st, beverage service including canned beverages, juice and water will begin in the main cabin on domestic flights.
American Airlines said it made this decision based on all safety recommendations. As vaccination is advancing in the United States, the company decided to resume in-flight service on domestic flights.
Even so, the company will continue to require engers to wear masks when not consuming drinks.

In-flight service has been suspended on American Airlines flights at least since the beginning of the pandemic, as a measure imposed by US authorities to prevent the spread of Covid-19 on board.
