The National Civil Aviation Agency (ANAC) is accepting applications for the course the distance of Consciousness in aviation security (AVSEC) for ANAC employees and for professionals from operators and external entities, especially those who need to carry out activities in the Security Restricted Areas (ARS) of airports.
The training will be available between April 18th and June 18th at ANAC Training Portal (Click on the link to access). The duration of the course is 2 hours and there is no limit on places. Applications are open until the 13th of June.
The aim of the course is to provide basic guidance on securing civil aviation against acts of unlawful interference and to promote awareness of each person's role in strengthening AVSEC, thus promoting a global culture of security.
Participants will find in the course the main concepts related to AVSEC, the history of threats to world civil aviation and the most important requirements applicable by Brazilian regulations to everyone who accesses restricted areas at airports, as well as principles for strengthening an AVSEC Culture by all civil aviation professionals.
The previous edition of the AVSEC awareness course, held in 2021, had a large number of participants, demonstrating the interest of the airport community in the subject. In total, 94 ANAC civil servants and 1648 professionals from the airport community participated in the classes.
