A National Civil Aviation Agency (ANAC) published on Monday, October 31, the Ordinance no. 9592 / 2022 (click on the link to access), which regulates theoretical knowledge exams for the purpose of obtaining licenses, qualifications and the certificate of aerosport pilot and AVSEC instructor, that is, instructor of courses focused on security against acts of unlawful interference .
The new norm is an effort to incorporate and standardize the exams applied by ANAC to the external public in electronic format in application centers located in all Brazilian states.
The novelty of this ordinance is due to the incorporation of two new exams: the Free Balloon Pilot and the AVSEC Instructor, which are now part of the list of theoretical exams applied by ANAC in partnership with FGV (Click on the link to access).
The AVSEC Instructor theoretical exam is no longer applied in the ANAC exam rooms, located in Brasília, São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, through a public notice published three times a year, and is now carried out in continuous flow following the rules of the new ordinance in 49 locations throughout the country.
In addition, all flight instructor tests are now grouped under a single nomenclature (INV), automatically exempting the candidate from taking a new theoretical exam to obtain the instructor qualification in new equipment, as he understands that instructional skills are common flight instructor qualification, regardless of the category of aircraft on which flight instruction is intended.
With this initiative, ANAC seeks to bring greater capillarity, economy and convenience to the candidate who wishes to become a civil aviation professional in Brazil.
