Anvisa opens public consultation on air medical transport services

Since last Friday (22/10), interested parties will be able to send their contributions to the Transport Services Guide Aeromedical of engers with Covid-19.

Anvisa informs that, as of this Friday (22/10), consultation with society will be open for the revision of the first version of Guide 53/2021, which deals with Aeromedical Transport Services for engers with Covid-19. Interested parties will be able to send their contributions until December 6th of this year.   

To participate, simply fill out the electronic form About the subject. It should be noted that the publication aims to guide air transport activities for patients with Covid-19, establishing the health requirements that need to be observed for this purpose.  

Furthermore, it should be clarified that the document does not intend to discuss aspects related to the transport of engers who may be sick in large commercial aircraft.

About the guide  

 The document is indicative, that is, it is not a standard. Thus, the guide has a recommendatory and non-binding nature.

Its recommendations, considered essential for the safety of the different agents involved, are expressed in current legislation and other measures based on protocols, guidelines and technical conduct adopted nationally and internationally in situations involving patients with Covid-19 and care with professionals and environments exposed to them.
