Dominican Republic low-cost airline Arajet has become the newest member airline of the Latin American and Caribbean Air Transport Association (ALTA).

One of Arajet’s main value propositions is the “democratization of the skies,” which they promote by offering affordable fares and opening new routes connecting the Americas. In addition to its focus on affordability, the airline also stands out for its commitment to operational efficiency and sustainability. Its entire fleet is comprised of state-of-the-art Boeing aircraft, which has allowed Arajet to reduce fuel consumption by 14% and reduce ambient noise by 50% compared to other single-aisle aircraft.

In its second anniversary, the airline has managed to connect Santo Domingo with more than 23 destinations in 16 countries. In addition, Arajet was recognized as the best new airline in the world at the CAPA 2023 awards.
With its entry into ALTA, Arajet reinforces its commitment to continue expanding its network of destinations and its fleet, working together with the other of the association to contribute to the sustainable growth of the aviation sector in the region.
