From this coming Monday (04) the Aerolíneas Argentinas will take advantage of its route between Buenos Aires and Punta Cana to make an extension, and serve the city of Havana, Cuba.
Aerolíneas' operations to Havana were suspended at the end of July 2016, as they were at low profitability at the time. Unlike the resumption in 2022, which is being operated with the economical Boeing 737 MAX 8, the company used the four-engine A340-300.
According to data released by the company, the flight takes off from Buenos Aires to Punta Cana and shortly afterwards goes to Havana. On the way back, the flight es through Punta Cana again, taking off from the Cuban capital, and lands in Buenos Aires at 04:00 am the next day, about 26 hours after the plane left the Argentine capital.
