AtlasGlobal closes its operations, files for bankruptcy

AtlasGlobal, from Turkey, announced this Wednesday afternoon (12/02) the closure of its operations, and the company's bankruptcy.

The airline has requested that no employees report to work tomorrow, and has canceled all access badges. In addition, the company also closed all flight sales.

AtlasGlobal had already been in crisis since 2019, and on November 26 it had to close its operations, however, on December 21 it resumed flights to Antalya, London, Baghdad, Tel-Aviv, Tehran and Amsterdam, from Istanbul ( Turkey).

However, despite resuming operations and having revenues, the company's s decided to close operations. The last flight was operated from Istanbul to Baghdad, and since then all of the company's aircraft have been on the ground.

The company said that some planes will be retired, and others returned and sold.
