ATR has announced its 2024 annual results, with a growth trajectory driven by successful partnerships with existing and new clients.
Orders for 56 aircraft represent a 40% increase over 2023, with a mix of renewed commitments from existing operators and new customers, both airlines and lessors, exemplifying the strong market demand for ATR aircraft. 51 ATR 72s and 5 ATR 42s were ordered, bringing the backlog to over 150. In 2024, Asian carriers showed significant engagement, while ATR saw renewed interest from Canadian operators.
Deliveries remained at 2023 levels, with 35 aircraft delivered, plus one ready for delivery. ATR expects 2025 to be another year of stabilization, as supply chain tensions will remain at least through the first half of the year.
ATR generated $1,2 billion in revenue and confirmed a book-to-bill ratio well above 1. The manufacturer also recorded nearly 100 transactions in the used market. Customer and services increased 15% to $480 million.
