Average price of airline tickets drops 42% with the arrival of Azul on the Rio – São Paulo air bridge

The Brazilian airline Azul announced yesterday that it will start operating flights on the air shuttle between the airports of Congonhas, in São Paulo, and Santos Dumont, in Rio de Janeiro.

Data KAYAK, the largest travel search engine in the world, reveal that in just one day the average price of airline tickets on the route dropped by up to 42%:
