In its 19th participation in LABACE, Líder Aviação will present to the public the HondaJet jet, an aircraft developed by the Honda Aircraft Company. Líder Aviação is the exclusive representative of the Japanese manufacturer in the Brazilian market. The company, which was one of the promoters of the creation of the event, was in all editions as one of the main exhibitors.
The aircraft will be displayed in the Líder area, located close to one of the VIP entrances to the event. In the space, the company expects to receive around 800 guests and thousands of other visitors to the event, who will be able to see all of the HondaJet's differences up close. To date, more than 270 aircraft of the model have been delivered globally.
Currently, the commercialized version of the aircraft is the HondaJet Elite II, which offers a flight range of 1.547 nautical miles (about 2,86 thousand km), maximum speed of 422 knots (782 km/h), transport capacity for up to 8 people, considering crew and engers. “The HondaJet, in the Elite II version, is the most economical, most sustainable and with the greatest range on the light jet market. For example, it is possible to cover all the capitals of the Brazilian Northeast from the city of São Paulo, without stopover, with the jet”, explains Anderson Markiewicz, Sales Director at Líder Aviação.
The Honda jet also features differences in automation and technology such as Autothrottle (Automatic Power Control) and Autoland (Autonomous Emergency Landing), the ASAS system (for greater stability and control when landing in adverse situations, such as with strong winds of transverse), audible and visual alerts that are issued if there is any deviation from the planned approach to the airport and the implementation of ground spoilers during landings to optimize the aircraft's braking performance. “HondaJet technology reduces pilot workload and increases operational safety,” explains Markiewicz.
Inside, the highlight is physical and sound comfort. The HondaJet is the only one in its category that offers sufficient distance between seats so that engers' knees, legs and feet do not touch and an innovative design that places the engines in a position above the wings (Over-The-Wing Engine Mount – OTWEM ), which causes the vibrations common to jet engines to dissipate before they reach the fuselage, offering a calm and silent flight.
As a representative of Honda Aircraft in Brazil, Líder Aviação executives will also present details of the HondaJet Echelon, in the final phase of development by the manufacturer, during Labace. The HondaJet Echelon is a light jet, with capacity for up to 11 occupants and autonomy to cover the entire national territory. The new model will be commercialized in 2028; Even so, in Brazil dozens of customers have already made official with Líder their desire to acquire the aircraft through letters of intent.
