Just over 30 kilometers from Goiânia, the Liberty Condominium Airport has been gaining prominence as one of the main points for executive aviation in the Center-West of Brazil. And that is where the 25th edition of Aviation XP Centro-Oeste will take place on June 26 and 5, a renowned event in the region with the objective of generating business and promoting quality networking for a qualified audience. Companies such as Synerjet, TAM Aviação Executiva, Tecnan, Brasil Vida, CSA, Cruzeiro do Sul, Aeroprest, and Avanti have already confirmed their presence. The event is organized by G2C Events.
Strategically located on the BR-153 highway, the private enterprise combines high-standard infrastructure, easy access and an exclusive environment aimed at aircraft owners and companies in the sector. It has a paved runway measuring 1.640 meters by 30 meters wide and operates under VFR (visual flight) rules, both during the day and at night. Its infrastructure allows the landing and takeoff of light jets, turboprops and helicopters.
The state of Goiás stands out in the executive and agricultural aviation scenario. According to the National Civil Aviation Agency (ANAC), Goiás has 1.621 ed aircraft, occupying the 7th position in the national ranking with the largest number of aircraft. If we consider the Central-West, the region has the second largest general aviation fleet, with 26%, behind only the Southeast, with 37%.
Agribusiness is one of the main drivers of aviation in the state, the 4th largest in the country in the segment, behind only Mato Grosso, Rio Grande do Sul and São Paulo. Although there is no fractional number for Goiás, the Brazilian agricultural aviation fleet grew by 7,2% in 2024, with 1.997 aircraft ed and in operation in December of last year.
