AVSEC Awareness Course is launched by ANAC

The National Civil Aviation Agency (ANAC) is making available, as of this Friday (1/10), the Aviation Security Awareness Course (AVSEC) for professionals from operators and external entities who need to carry out activities in the Restricted Areas of Security (ARS) at airports. This is another action of the Year of Culture AVSEC (YOSC Brasil 2021) promoted by the Agency. The duration of the course is one hour and 200 places are being offered. Training is available between October 1st and November 30th, 2021 at ANAC Training Portal (Click on the link to access).

The course aims to provide basic guidance on civil aviation security against acts of unlawful interference and to promote awareness of each person's role in strengthening AVSEC, thus promoting a global culture of security.

Participants will find in the course the main concepts related to AVSEC, the history of threats to world civil aviation and the most important requirements applicable by Brazilian regulations to everyone who accesses restricted areas at airports, as well as principles for strengthening an AVSEC Culture by all civil aviation professionals.
