"This is a very special moment for the company, with the intention of starting flights to one of the most beloved places on the coast of Ceará. Our focus on customer demands, our strategy with the Recife hub and Aracati airport allow us to reach these places, offering even more comfort and convenience for those who want to visit these paradisiacal places”, comments Daniel Tkacz, Grid Planning director at Azul.

The connections will benefit customers from many regions of Brazil, but, above all, those departing from São Paulo (Campinas and Guarulhos), João Pessoa, Fortaleza, Manaus, Natal, Aracaju, Rio de Janeiro (Galeão), Belém, Teresina, São Luís , Fernando de Noronha, Petrolina, Maceió, Salvador, Belo Horizonte and Orlando, whose landing times in Recife are close for connections to Aracati and Canoa Quebrada.

Azul's intention to fly to Aracati is subject to approval by the National Civil Aviation Agency (Anac) – tickets will be sold after the airport has been validated by the regulatory body.

Canoa Quebrada

The Ceará beach is located 12 km from the center of Aracati, it became a tourist spot in the mid-70s, by a group of hippies who fell in love with the paradisiacal beauty and the hospitality of the natives who inhabited the village. This cinematic setting is just 165 km east of Fortaleza, capital of the State of Ceará.

Today, in addition to the unique and exuberant landscape, the most popular attractions to enjoy the strong sun are the more than 80 excellent hotels in Canoa Quebrada and excursions to the region's tourist attractions and neighboring beaches.
