Azul S.A., “Azul”, (B3: AZUL4, NYSE: AZUL) celebrates its inclusion, for the third consecutive year, in the Corporate Sustainability Index of the B3 Stock Exchange (“ISE B3”). The company grew by 16 positions in the ranking, due to improvements in performance in the following areas: environmental, social responsibility, economic-financial and corporate governance.
“We continue with our purpose of connecting Brazil and Brazilians in a sustainable way, thus contributing to the country's development while reinforcing our commitment to the ESG agenda. Azul remains the only airline included in the “ISE B3” index, which puts us on the right track to take on not only the responsibility of being the best airline in the world, but also the best airline for the world,” highlights Jason Ward, Vice President of People, Customers and ESG at Azul.
Another important milestone achieved by the company was its presence in the Carbon Efficient Index (ICO2), also listed by B3, and which takes into the degree of efficiency of greenhouse gas emissions presented by companies.
These important recognitions reinforce Azul's commitment to creating economic value combined with social responsibility, strong governance and transformative environmental initiatives.
