Commercial flights will still depart from Brasília to Belo Horizonte (MG), Campinas (SP), Curitiba (PR) and Ribeirão Preto (SP). All refugees will fly free with Azul and other airlines, in a t effort to ensure the safety and well-being of those who had to leave their region in search of peace.

Called Operation Repatriation, the FAB special mission brought to Brazil 42 Brazilians, 20 Ukrainians, five Argentineans and one Colombian, including 14 children. In addition, the special flight also brought eight dogs and two cats.

The return of Brazilians and foreigners from Ukraine relied on the use of two FAB aircraft, a KC-390 Millennium and a VC-99B Legacy. Upon disembarking, the refugees will receive from the Federal Government all the necessary to return safely to their homes.

The President of the Republic, Jair Bolsonaro, declared today (10/03) that he would talk to Brazilian airlines so that they could transport families free of charge to the national destination desired by each refugee. Azul's share is a reflection of this negotiation.
