Azul receives award for the most efficient check-in in the country

Azul today received the trophy for the company with the most efficient check-in in Brazil. The award given by the National Secretariat of Civil Aviation of the Ministry of Transport, Ports and Aviation took into the consolidated results of the enger Satisfaction Survey over the past year.

The numbers, released at the end of last week, show that Azul recorded the shortest waiting time in the queue at the counter. According to the company, customers took an average of 06:57 minutes to check-in.

The achievement does not come as a surprise to the company, which already led the ranking of the Ministry of Transport, Ports and Civil Aviation in the first nine months of 2017. In addition, since the report on airline companies began to be prepared, in 2015, Azul has won first place in check-in operations. The second company with the shortest check-in time in 2017 needed almost two minutes more to complete the same procedures.

The speed and efficiency at the counter, in addition to other service channels, such as the application and web check-in, contributed to the good results. According to the company's director of airports, Elisabete Antunes, the company's concern with simplifying the steps results in time savings on the part of customers traveling with Azul.

In the last report released by the Ministry of Transport, referring to the first quarter of 2018, Azul maintained the leadership in faster check-in. The company also recorded the lowest average waiting time in line to board the aircraft (10:08 minutes) and ranked first in the ranking that measures the average time between the arrival of the first and last luggage on the mats.

In this criterion, Azul took only 5:50 minutes to complete the refund, two minutes less than the second best positioned company.
