Contributing to the campaign to reinforce immunization in Brazil against Covid-19, the BLUE brought 2,1 million doses of the Oxford / AstraZeneca vaccine that were donated by the US government.

The Airbus A330-900neo model aircraft departed from Fort Lauderdale Airport (Florida) this Saturday, on a commercial flight, and landed at Viracopos International Airport, in Campinas (SP), this morning (21).

After customs clearance, the doses go by truck to the airport in Guarulhos (SP), the logistics headquarters of the Ministry of Health, from where they will be distributed to all states of the federation.

Azul Cargo Express, Azul's logistics unit, has been putting all its experience and excellence in the transport and logistics of sensitive cargo to help Brazil in the fight against Covid-19.

Since January, the company has already transported more than 50 million doses of vaccine against Covid-19 to all Brazilian states, as part of the commitment to transport immunizers free of charge on its regular air network.

In addition, the company has already completed national and international operations to seek inputs for the production of immunizers and to take equipment and intubation kits to assist in the treatment of patients with the disease.
