The “Ararinha Azul” painting is not exactly new, the newest creation by Coral in partnership with Azul Linhas Aéreas, but the airline plans to present it this week
The official presentation will take place next Thursday (03/12), starting at 09:00 am, and you can check it out live on the Social Networks of the Aeroflap Portal: No Instagram e Facebook.
In a partnership with Coral and AkzoNobel, the company pays homage to the national fauna and flora, painting an aircraft with 58 different colors and six blue macaws drawn on the plane's fuselage.
As an initiative of Azul and AkzoNobel, the choice of the artist who developed the creative concept for the new plane was based on an analysis of the portfolios of renowned Brazilian artists, curated by Dionísio, an agency specializing in art that connects companies and artists.
The famous São Paulo graffiti artist Pardal was invited to portray the importance of Brazilian nature and animals. Of the 58 different colors used in Azul's E2, 28 were developed exclusively by AkzoNobel for this project. The plane also features a sparrow, the bird that gives the artist his name.
In addition to this E195-E2, Azul has previously received two aircraft of the same model with special liveries. The PR-PJN has the Azul values painting, the PS-AEA received the traditional pink painting in allusion to the of the campaign against breast cancer and Pink October.
