The update will focus on the AN/ASQ-239 EW system, which has placed F-35s that have this update in Block 4 status.

“The F-35 will be in service for decades and we are committed to providing our pilots with an AN/ASQ-239 capability that delivers a decisive and sustained EW operational advantage”, said Deborah Norton, F-35 vice president. Solutions at BAE Systems.
