This Friday (09/09) Airbus carried out another test flight with the A330-900neo from Blue Airlines which is equipped with pink color. The aircraft now has the F-WTAM test registration, and is expected to be delivered in October this year, after considerable delay.
The three-year-old F-WTAM performed a short 20-minute systems check flight, taking off and landing from Tarbes, a location where the plane was stocked during the pandemic.

Since it was manufactured in 2019, this A330neo has performed around 15h35 hours of test flights, most of them at the end of 2020 and 2021. Azul decided to delay the delivery of the pink A330neo due to the pandemic period, where it faced low demand for seats, mainly in the international market.
Azul's newest and last A330neo will receive registration PR-ANV and received the baptismal name “La Belle Azul”. The company equipped its new plane with a configuration of 34 seats in Business, 96 in Economy Xtra and 168 in Economy.
The painting is carried out to promote “Pink October”, a campaign carried out by the airline every year in the fight against Breast Cancer, with awareness of the company for its employees and engers.
This will be the last of 5 aircraft of this model ordered by Azul. The company should also receive other four A350-900XWB planes, to complete its fleet of large aircraft.
