A Boeing and Antonov Company today signed a Memorandum of Understanding to explore opportunities for collaboration on defense-related projects.
“We are pleased to continue working with Antonov Company to Ukraine’s development and economic growth,” said Ted Colbert, president and CEO of Boeing Defense, Space & Security. “This agreement demonstrates our continued efforts to find more opportunities to work with Ukrainian industry, which was underlined by our g of the Ukrainian Defense Industry Pact earlier this year.”
Areas of potential collaboration identified in the agreement consist of training, logistical and overhaul services for unmanned tactical aerial systems used by the Ukrainian Armed Forces, which include ScanEagle. Additionally, the companies will also explore opportunities for Antonov to provide engineering to Boeing.
