The 737 MAX, flagship of the American manufacturer Boeing is again facing problems related to its supply chain for the manufacture of aircraft and with that, production should be reduced very soon.
The manufacturer issued a statement informing that the part manufactured by Spirit AeroSystems was inconsistent with the quality required for the plane. Boeing stressed that despite the specific problem in this part, it does not present an immediate risk to flight safety and all aircraft in operation can continue to operate.
Boeing also said that the problem will affect future orders for the 737 MAX and also the already manufactured planes that are currently in storage and also on the assembly line.
The model most affected by the problem in the part manufactured by Spirit AeroSystems is the 737 MAX 8, the best seller in the entire Boeing portfolio. The US company was preparing to increase its monthly rate of aircraft manufactured due to the growing demand for the medium jet.
