From the first hour of the 18th of October, the numbering of the boarding gates of the Brasilia airport will be changed. engers must pay attention to the signage when looking for the flight gate number.
The change happens due to the inclusion of two new boarding gates that are being built by Infrarica, concessionaire of the Brasilia terminal, to meet demand during peak hours. The project was already ready before the covid-19 pandemic, but it had to be postponed due to the reduction in the number of operations in the period.
The new numbering will improve the location and orientation of s. The airport continues with the same layout, but the international gates are now identified numerically and no longer alphabetically. From the 18th, the numbering of the entire terminal will start from gate 1 to gate 51.
All teams at Brasília Airport are receiving training to serve and assist engers.

“We ask engers to pay attention to the signs and if they have any questions, airport employees will be available to help. Frequent engers who are already familiar with the terminal will need to pay extra attention”, says Rogério Coimbra, director of Corporate Affairs at Infrarica.
The executive recommends that engers arrive at the airport 2 hours before the flight.
“Our suggestion is that the customer arrives early at the airport so that their experience is positive. Our teams will be ready to help. In this first moment, attention needs to be greater”, completes Coimbra.
