A Boeing F/A-18F Super Hornet fighter crashed this past Wednesday (14/03), while in the process of landing at Naval Air Force Base Boca Child Field, in Key West, in the state of Florida.
The aircraft crashed near the airport, which facilitated the quick rescue of the crew that was on the Super Hornet, being a pilot and the second the Super Hornet weapons systems officer.
The officers were taken to a Medical Center in the region, however, so far, the state of health of the military has not been informed.
Authorities of the US Navy (Navy) have already begun investigations into the crash of the US fighter.
