CCR Aeroportos records constant growth in enger movement at Goiânia International Airport (GYN). In 2023 alone, there were more than 3,4 million engers boarding and disembarking, placing the airport among the five airports in Brazil that recovered movement compared to the pre-pandemic period. These records demonstrate a historic record of engers at the airport.
Growth was 10% last year in the number of engers compared to 2019, before the pandemic. The projection is that the airport will continue to grow constantly, including in 2023 it reached a 14% increase in engers compared to 2022, consolidating itself as one of the 15 airports with the highest enger flow in the country.
The movement reflects the strength of the aviation sector in Goiás, the confidence of engers and airlines in the resumption of operations. CCR sees with great optimism this progress that benefits the regional economy, creating jobs and stimulating tourism, and also strengthening Goiânia's position as an important transport and connectivity center in Brazil.
“We are happy and committed to continuing to promote the growth of the airport, including new routes and being a link between the main destinations in Brazil. Since the arrival of CCR Aeroportos, in March 2022, we have already received more than 6 million engers in Goiânia”, reports Tássia Fraguas, manager of Goiânia International Airport.
