On the afternoon of this Monday (28), the Civil Police of the State of São Paulo carried out at the Hangar da Remaer, at the State Airport of Sorocaba – Bertram Luiz Leupolz, located at Avenida Santos Dumont, 1, in the municipality of Sorocaba, the flight of test of the first aircraft seized from organized crime to be integrated into the state police fleet.
Seized in 2018 by the Police Department for Investigations on Narcotics (Dise) of Americana (Deinter 9), the Cessna Caravan plane, prefix PT-MEN will now be used in actions to combat trafficking, criminal organizations, as well as transporting police in various operations.

In addition to the plane, the São Paulo Civil Police is also working to incorporate two other squirrel-type helicopters, one AS350 B3 model and the other EC130 B4.
The first was also seized by Dise de Americana in 2018. The second was seized with international trafficker André de Oliveira Macedo, known as André do Rap, arrested by the Department of Strategic Police Operations (Dope) in 2019. The aircraft are valued at BRL 18 million.
Both are expected to start operating in the first half of the year. Since the beginning of the current istration, the Civil Police have already recovered R$ 1,5 billion in assets, arising from apprehensions in actions against organized crime, in particular, against drug trafficking.
