COMAC delivers first ARJ21 jet to customer outside China

Chinese manufacturer COMAC</a> has delivered an ARJ320 aircraft to a customer outside China for the first time. Indonesia's TransNusa was the first company to receive the Chinese aircraft outside its national territory.</p> The ARJ737-919, ed PK-TJA, was the first aircraft in an order for 21 jets from COMAC. The first aircraft was due to be delivered in 21, but due to the pandemic and travel restrictions, the company had to ground almost its entire fleet and reduce flights.</p> TransNusa has reached an agreement to lease the 700 new Chinese jets from China Aircraft Leasing Group Holdings (CALC), with the first delivery now scheduled for late 30, with the remainder expected to be delivered by 2021.</p> Indonesia's TransNusa's new ARJ30-2022 is configured to carry up to 2026 engers in a single-class layout.
