The month of August began with favorable prospects for the recovery of the airline industry. Given this scenario, the Belo Horizonte International Airport, in Confins, has news in relation to the destinations served.
“We had a return and a debut, which are connections with the interior of São Paulo: Ribeirão Preto, returns after five months of stoppage, and São José do Rio Preto, is an unprecedented connection”, reveals Clayton Begido, Aviation and Connectivity manager at BH Airport.
Both flights are already in operation at the terminal. Flights to Ribeirão Preto are daily and depart from the airport at 21:45. Those destined for São José do Rio Preto take off at 22:45 pm, with a frequency of six flights a week.
“The two destinations were much awaited by engers from Belo Horizonte and Greater Belo Horizonte who, now, can connect directly, without having to make connections in other locations. We are attentive to the needs and aspirations of miners and looking for new opportunities to expand Minas’ connectivity with other Brazilian states”, concludes Clayton.
Currently, the airport connects to 38 destinations. They are: Belém (PA), Porto Seguro (BA), Barreiras (BA), Brasília (DF), Cabo Frio (RJ), Cuiabá (MT), Congonhas (SP), Carajás (PA), Curitiba (PR), Florianópolis (SC), Fortaleza (CE), Galeão (RJ), Guarulhos (SP), Governador Valadares (MG), Goiânia (GO), Ilhéus (BA), Jericoacoara (CE), João Pessoa (PB), Marabá (PA) ), Maceió (AL), Montes Claros (MG), Natal (RN), Porto Alegre (RS), Recife (PE), Ribeirão Preto (SP), Santos Dumont (RJ), São José do Rio Preto (SP), São Luís (MA), Salvador (BA), Teixeira de Freitas (BA), Uberaba (MG), Uberlândia (MG), Comandatuba (BA), Campinas (SP), Vitória da Conquista (BA), Vitoria (VIX), and the international ones Lisbon (Portugal) and Panama.
