Congonhas Airport, managed by Aena Brasil, interrupted its operations for landings and takeoffs after a power outage.
Sources close to the matter said that the power outage occurred at around 12:30 pm, impacting the control tower, directly making it impossible for the air terminal located in the south zone of São Paulo to operate.
So far, it is possible to observe some aircraft in orbit, including the recommendation to divert to nearby airports.
In a statement, Aena informed that there was a failure in the external energy supply, affecting the control tower and that operations will be resumed as soon as power is restored.
