The experience at Cuiabá International Airport, recently expanded and modernized by the concessionaire Centro-Oeste Airports (COA), has already changed: in June 2024, all Service Quality Indicators monitored in a monthly survey by ANAC showed an increase in relation to the the same period of the previous year.
Among the highlights, thermal and acoustic comfort received 12,93% and 19,38% higher ratings from engers, respectively. Another aspect that directly impacts the customer experience also ed significant improvement – the assessment of comfort in boarding areas improved by 15,84%.
In recent months, several commercial establishments have opened their doors at the airport, such as Fran's Café, Chilli Beans and Rei do Mate. The openings also had a positive impact on the indicators: the assessment of the quality and variety of stores and commercial establishments, as well as restaurants, improved compared to last year (23,01% and 14,16%, in order).
In one year, the perception of the availability and cleanliness of bathrooms also increased (11,85% and 11,76%, respectively), as well as the cleanliness of the airport (12,72%), essential aspects for well-being of travelers.
Together, these points culminated in the significant evolution of engers' general satisfaction with the airport, a result also observed in the enger Satisfaction Survey, conducted by the Civil Aviation Secretariat (SAC), of the Ministry of Ports and Airports. The same research also points out that, in June, the project ranked 4th among the main Brazilian airports with up to 5 million engers.
