Delta Airlines extends airline ticket validity through the end of 2024

Delta is redoubling its efforts to offer customers more flexibility in their travel plans with a new extension of eCredits (credits that are available online when a ticket is not used) until the end of 2023.

Since January 12th, all holders of eCredit existing customers will have an additional year of flexibility to rebook and fly. Customers will be able to change the ticket until December 31, 2023, to travel throughout 2024.

In addition, all airline engers with travel in 2022 or who purchase a ticket in 2022 also have the flexibility to rebook their ticket through December 31, 2023 and travel throughout 2024 if their plans change.

“We want to make sure our customers have peace of mind when booking or rebooking their travel with Delta this year”, said Executive Director of Customer Experience Allison Ausband. "This differentiated extension gives travelers more time to use their credits, so they can book with complete confidence that Delta is there for them, even when times arise out of their control."

Delta Vacations customers with vouchers existing or future vacation travel plans will also receive a one-year travel credit extension. Additional details will be sent in subsequent communications.

Travelers should not be concerned if they cannot see the new expiration date on their travel documents. eCredit. It will take some time for the airline to update the system, but they can be confident that they will be able to continue to book tickets for travel anytime in 2022 or 2023 with their eCredits existing. And when they're ready to rebook, engers can easily redeem their eCredits from their own devices at delta.com/redeem or in the app Fly delta

As a reminder, Delta has also eliminated change fees for most tickets, making it even easier to manage any travel changes.
