With two flights per week on Thursdays and Sundays, LATAM and Delta will reactivate the direct route between Santiago and Orlando. The route will be available from June 16 to September 28, 2024, summer season in the Northern Hemisphere, providing a direct and convenient option for those looking to escape the Southern Hemisphere winter to Central Florida's variety of theme parks and attractions.
The seasonal route – which LATAM Group is resuming after a break in 2018 – marks a new step in the t venture between Delta and LATAM (after they have already launched six new routes that directly connect South America to the United States).
Therefore, Delta and LATAM plan to fly with approximately 12.800 customers during the summer season in the United States. In addition to customers from Chile, the route will also facilitate access to Orlando for travelers from Brazil during the high travel season.
