“Our flight attendants are the best professionals who take to the skies day in and day out, so when we were looking for exceptional products that met the Delta standard, Apple and AT&T came first”said Allison Ausband, senior vice president of Onboard Service. “This relationship is a step towards the future of a more connected and human onboard experience.”

Smartphones can empower flight attendants with in-the-moment information to help with:

  • Training: With policies changing frequently due to the pandemic, training and information for flight attendants is more important than ever. With AT&T 5G on the ground and iPhone 12 in hand, flight attendants will have greater access to immersive training including videos, photos and AR anywhere.
  • Catering/Inflight service: Nowadays, a paper-based process, flight attendants will soon have a digital catering inventory and will be able to quickly locate items without opening a single door, using the iPhone 12 camera and augmented reality to visualize where items are located. items are stored.

As accelerated vaccination rates generate renewed demand for travel and human connections, Delta is prepared to welcome our customers once again with an experience even better than what they knew before the pandemic.
