If motorsport is one of the main ions of Brazilians, Raí Caldato, the Brazilian designer responsible for deg the seven-time Formula 1 champion Lewis Hamilton helmets since 2017, managed to bring to the aviation-loving audience the opportunity to the main Airlines that acted in the past.
On your Instagram profile (@caldatodesign), Raí shows that aviation is also one of the many sources that inspire him, bringing helmets that recall the legendary paintings by Varig, Transbrasil, VASP, TAM and Cruzeiro do Sul.
In his posts, Raí Caldato tells a little about the history of the aircraft prefixes stamped on the helmets, bringing back good memories and nostalgia for those who saw up close some of the main paintings that marked the history of Brazilian aviation.

Including the creation of designs for helmets, Raí Caldato in 2019, created a special painting on a Dassault Mirage 2000C of the Brazilian Air Force (FAB) to honor Ayrton Senna.
On that occasion, the Jaguar Squadron (1st GDA), based at the Anápolis Air Base (BABR), ed the 30 years when Ayrton Senna made a supersonic flight with a FAB fighter on March 29, 1989. Senna fulfilled his dream of breaking the sound barrier on the wings of the Mirage III.

In addition to the airline-inspired designs, there are also historic helmet designs that recall Senna's winning legacy in Formula 1.
