A TAP will face a Cabin Crew strike announcement for the 8th and 9th of December. Despite all the Company's efforts to avoid this strike, it was not possible to reach an agreement with the union that represents these professionals, although understandings were reached on several matters.

Thus, and not knowing the level of disruption that the operation may suffer on those days, TAP recommends its customers to try to reschedule their flights. They must do so through the TAP call center on 0800 888 2099 or through their travel agencies.
Changing the dates of flights scheduled for this period can be done without any penalty and without changing the fare, for dates between November 28th and December 19th, and without penalty, although with changing the fare, for any other period.
A TAP he also informed that he remains available for an understanding with the crew union, under the of the proposal that has already been presented to them. And he reiterates that he did everything possible to make this happen in good time, now having to concentrate his efforts on organizing the operation and safeguarding his customers.
“Aware of the harmful effects of this announced strike, TAP apologizes in advance to its customers for the disturbance that it may cause them and ensures that it is making every effort to minimize them”, says the company in a note.
